1. There must be ~ (분명히 ~가 있을 거예요)

 

'~임에 틀립없다' 라는 뜻의 조동사 must가 There is/are~와 결합해 만들어진 패턴이에요. 뭔가 드러나지 않고 있다거나, 어떤 일이 일어나고 잇다는 자신의 판단에 확신을 갖고 말할 때 사용하죠.

 

■ 예시

A: Why are you crying?
B: I don't know.
A: There must be something wrong.
B: No, nothing is wrong.

 

■ 예문

There must be a hundred choices.	백 가지 수선택이 분명히 있을거예요.
There must be something you like to do.	당신이 하고 싶은 뭔가가 분명히 있을거예요.
There must be another way to get out of here.	여기서 빠져나갈 다른 길이 분명히 있을거예요.

2.  There will be~ (~이 있을 거예요)

 

There is ~에 미래를 나타내는 조동사 will이 붙었어요. 사람이 많을 거야, 눈보라가 칠 거야, 임금이 인상될 거야 등 차후에 일어날 것으로 예상되는 일이나 상황을 나타내는 표현이예요.

A: Are they going to announce the new company president?
B: Yes, they are. There will be a meeting this afternoon.
A: I wonder if we'll get to introduce ourselves.
B: I suppose we'll be able to do that.

 

■ 예문

There will be about 50 people.	약 50명의 사람들이 있을 거예요.
There will be enough time to think.	생각할 충분한 시간이 있을 거예요.
There will be a moment when you finally understand me.	결국 나를 이해하는 순간이 있을 거예요.
There will be a break of halftime.	하프 타임 때 휴식 시간이 있을 거예요.
