1. I think I like ~ (~이 좋은 것 같아요)

 

자신의 선호도나 취향을 상대방에게 조심스럽게 말할 때 I think ~ 패턴을 씁니다. I like가 붙으면 '내 생각엔 ~이 좋을 듯 한데' 라는 뜻이 됩니다. I guess I like~ 도 비슷한 뜻입니다.

 

■ 예시

A: How do you like your new jacket?
B: I think I like the way it fits.
A: It looks really nice on you.
B: Thanks. It's really warm, too.

2.  I think you should ~ (당신은 ~해야 할 것 같아요)

 

'~인 것 같다'라는 의미의 I think에 당위성을 나타내는 should가 붙어 상대방이 마땅히 해야 한다고 생각되는 일에 조심스럽게 의견을 제시하는 표현이에요.

 

■ 예시

A: I need to make a dessert for our picnic.
B: What are you making?
A: I haven't decided yet.
B: I think you should make brownies.

 

■ 예문

I think you should sign here.	당신은 여기에 서명해야 할 것 같아요.
